Fact Based Media is dedicated to reasoned, fact based and fact checked thoughts on any topic of interest to the publisher. This will often include history, politics and culture, or a combination of all three. It may also migrate into less important matters such as the spectacular 8th inning of the '91 World Series.
Anyone can read Fact Based Media, but you need to subscribe (free, and worth every penny), to leave comments. If they're obnoxious, I'm inclined to let them go for all to see. Those enraged whiners (we know who they are) who choose to leave clearly uninformed and rude remarks, just reveal their ignorance and character. So if you're of that type, scribble away. You have only your reputation to lose.
About the publisher. Frank Schneider is a native Minnesotan ("by birth and temperament," he says), and has also lived in Detroit and, currently, Kansas City. He studied Journalism at the University of St. Thomas, and has an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He worked in Marketing and Information Technology (better at Marketing), and spent a couple years at the IRS as a retirement gig.
He describes himself as a "conservative Democrat," meaning "a liberal with common sense." He's crossed over and voted for Republicans a couple times, but considers himself a firmly committed member of the Sane Wing of the Democratic Party.
